This was my husband's first time at the Vatican and my third time. I wanted someone to keep us moving so that my husband could experience the Vatican museum without getting overwhelmed or annoyed with me wanting to stop and see everything. Simona was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time with her and moved through the museum at a comfortable pace. She knew where and when to point out the "must-sees" and when you keep walking while explaining what we were walking past. She spent ample time when we needed/wanted to and we never felt rushed. I would definitely book time with her and felt it was money well spent.

Express Vatican Museums Tour
The Vatican Museums are not difficult because there is too little to see. They are difficult because almost everything seems important. This Express Vatican Tour is built around selection. In approximately 2.5 hours, your Context Expert helps you focus on works and galleries that make the larger collection easier to understand, from classical sculpture and papal commissions to Renaissance frescoes and the Sistine Chapel. The aim is not to move quickly for the sake of speed. It is to create a coherent route through a museum complex that contains centuries of collecting, patronage, theology, politics, and artistic ambition. That makes the experience particularly useful for travelers who want a substantial introduction to the Vatican Museums without committing to the longer route that also includes St. Peter’s Basilica.
