Japan Private and Small Group Walking Tours

Uncover the glory of the Land of the Rising Sun
Japan is an intriguing blend of the traditional and ultramodern. The ancient temples and shrines that can be found across the country’s many islands speak to Japan’s long-established customs, spiritual traditions, and religions, including Shintoism and Buddhism.

Japan’s dense and huge urban areas, in contrast, symbolize the country’s focus on the future—exemplified by the towering skyscrapers, high-speed trains, neon streets, cutting-edge technology, and globally influential youth subcultures.

María gave us a comprehensive overview of the Tokyo National Museum of Art! She was very kind and helped us plan for the rest of our day in Tokyo. Thank you, Maria!
Marcin Tatarczuk was amazing. He was super knowledgeable, approachable, and took into consideration all of our different interests when it came to food. He did a great job taking us through all of the food alleys in Kyoto. We cannot recommend him enough. We appreciate all his time, education, and dedication. It was an unforgettable experience, and we were able to learn so much. I definitely recommend this for anyone who wants to learn the Kyoto area, and learn about traditional food and culture.
We had a GREAT day exploring Tokyo with Maciej. It was the perfect introduction to the city and an incredible way to start our trip. Maciej tailored the itinerary based on our interests and we had some experiences we’ll remember the rest of our lives. We went to beautiful parks, temples, shrines, had a delicious sushi lunch, and visited different neighborhoods than we would have discovered on our own with beautiful and unique shops. We went for delicious coffee and to a tea store that had a wonderful selection of local teas.
